Duos Technologies Expands AI Infrastructure with New Edge Data Centers in Texas

Duos Technologies is expanding its AI infrastructure with the acquisition of three new edge data centers located in Texas. This strategic move is designed to address the increasing demand for AI data processing capabilities. Constructed by Accu-Tech, these centers offer low-latency and high-speed internet access, particularly benefiting remote and underserved areas such as schools and public institutions.

Operational Timeline and Expansion Plans

The Duos Edge AI facilities are projected to be operational by the end of the first quarter of 2025. This initiative is part of a broader plan to deploy a total of 15 edge data centers by the end of 2025. By positioning these centers closer to end users, Duos Technologies aims to enhance processing speed and efficiency, thus bridging gaps typically left by traditional data centers.

Power and Efficiency

As the AI market continues to grow, the data centers are subjected to increasing power demands. The Duos Edge AI facilities will offer 100 kW per cabinet to support the high power needs of AI applications and networking infrastructure. Locating these centers within 12 miles of users effectively addresses latency challenges. This is facilitated by Texas’s abundant energy resources, which support the rapid expansion of the region’s IT sector.
